Dear Friends of the Foundation,
Welcome to the July edition of the Foundation Focus! It is an exciting time at PHSC as we embark on the College’s 50th anniversary. We hope you will join us for the many exciting community celebrations, events, and activities to be held throughout the upcoming year highlighting the College's history. The 50th year of the College presents a unique opportunity to reflect on what has made PHSC so successful, and dream about what we can continue to do to make the next 50 years even better.
As we prepare to welcome students back for the fall term, we look forward to the many ways that the PHSC Foundation will serve them. Because of our generous donors, the Foundation was recently able to assist in the College's Win Big contest and provided $50,000 in scholarships to deserving students. On June 30, PHSC President Timothy L. Beard, Ph.D. began the live drawing event with a surprise announcement. Each of the 50 winning student names drawn would receive a total scholarship of $1,000 to apply to the Fall 2022 term! Initiatives like this one are only possible due to the support of our donors.

Leaps & Bounds Scholarship Stories
Our scholarship story this month focuses on PHSC student, Nicholas Politano. When asked to reflect on his time at PHSC and share what made the biggest impact on his life, Nicholas replied, "Receiving scholarships has had the biggest impact on my life. With me being honored for my academics due to my disabilities, it is just an honor and a privilege to be noticed for that." Annual Report Now Available
The Pasco-Hernando State College Foundation's 2021 annual report is now available online. Win Big! Winners Announced
Congratulations to the 50 students who recently won Foundation scholarships during the College's Win Big event! Winners were announced on June 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. during a live drawing streamed on Facebook and YouTube. Each of the 50 students will receive a $1,000 scholarship to apply to the Fall 2022 term! Transform Lives and Smiles
The Foundation team had a wonderful time visiting with the PHSC Dental program faculty, staff, and administrators to collaborate on transforming lives of our students and community members. Did you know our clinic offers a full range of dental services? From deep cleanings to X-rays, you can get exceptional healthcare at an accessible price. Only $25 for adults and $15 for children, the clinic is open to all!
