The PHSC Foundation recently received two estate gifts that will provide funding for students for years to come.
The late Geraldine E. Bishop's estate provided $85,987 toward the Geraldine Bishop Second Chance Scholarship established in 2014. The fund is intended for students above the traditional age who are returning to school to obtain a college degree. Bishop was a proud PHSC alumnus and cumulatively contributed nearly $250,000 to student scholarships.
Upon retiring from the Wisconsin Gas Company, Mary Ann Hess relocated to Spring Hill, Fla. where she cultivated many lasting friendships and love for the community. The PHSC Foundation received $673,000 in total distributions from Hess' estate to assist and support areas of the college in greatest need.
