The PHSC Foundation attended the 2019 PHSC Student Life Retreat (SLR) to speak with students regarding scholarship and alumni opportunities. The annual event provides students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and connect with PHSC and community leaders.
Featured PHSC alumni speakers included local businessperson and 2019 Queen Chasco Lisa Shippy-Gonzalez and 2019 PHSC Distinguished Alumna of the Year Heather Rose-Fiorentino. Both community leaders encouraged students to embrace their education and discussed the significance of giving back to the community.
