The upcoming Pasco Hernando State College Foundation Performing Arts Season offers another blast from the past, featuring tribute artists recreating the sounds and personas of Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney and more. Season tickets are on sale for all five shows held at the PHSC Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Season tickets are $127.50 or $148.75 and may be purchased at the PHSC College Store at the New Port Richey campus, by calling (727) 816-3707 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or online at phsc.tix.com. Single-show tickets go on sale Sept. 4 and are $30 to $35 per show. Group discounts available.
The 2018-2019 season includes:
Sounds of Soul
- 7 p.m. Dec. 7. Combination of Motown classics, including hits of The Temptations, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes and more.
Tom Jones Tribute
- 2 and 7 p.m. Jan. 25. Lou Nelson takes the audience on a journey back to the greatest Tom Jones performances from the ‘60s through the ‘90s
The McCartney Project
- 7 p.m. Feb. 10. Paul McCartney, Wings and Beatles tribute. You will recognize every song as they recreate the best of the monster hits.
Elton John Tribute
- 2 and 7 p.m. Feb. 22. Rus Anderson recreates the magic and live persona of a young Elton John.
Jukebox 4
- 7 p.m. March 23. Group of national performers boasts incredible harmonies, infectious personas and playful choreography in a one-of-a-kind show that re-imagines classic Jukebox hits covering all genres of music.
