Administrator at Meadow Lane Surgery Center, native Floridian, Sandra Windham, has been on a course to master the world of health care. Windham’s passion for health care has taken her through all facets of surgery. She traveled the United States and taught laser physics and techniques to surgeons and nurses around the country while in her position as laser surgery program director at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Prior appointments include center director for wound care programs for Curative Health Services and operating room charge nurse at Bayonet Point Hospital. Windham first received her associate's degree in business from PHCC, then enrolled in the PHCC Nursing program while she taught several business and banking courses at PHCC. Windham received her bachelor’s degree in health care management from St. Leo University in 1987—the same year she was nominated by her peers to receive the Clinical Nurse of the Year award from Bayonet Point Medical Center. Currently, Windham serves on the advisory committee for the Gulf High School Health Careers Academy program and on the Advisory Board for the Adult Nursing Assistant program at Marchman Technical Education Center, New Port Richey, Florida. Windham is an active member in the National Notary Association, AORN, ASLMS, FSASC and SGNA.
