The Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) Foundation recently received a gift of $1,500 from the Suncoast Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). The funds support scholarships designated toward PHSC students from west Pasco County who demonstrate financial need.
This additional contribution continues an extended partnership between MOAA and PHSC Foundation. MOAA established an endowment with PHSC Foundation in 2000 to support students in west Pasco County, and established the Suncoast Chapter of the Military Officers of Association Endowed Scholarship Fund.
The Suncoast Chapter of MOAA is a volunteer group of retired military officers, dedicated to outreach and community service activities for the benefit of both the local community and retired, active, and former officers of the uniformed services.
